Description

An off-white, low strength, high/very high viscosity, thixotropic methacrylate thread sealant. It cures in the absence of air and by contact with metals when confined within threads up to M80/R3". Provides an instant low pressure seal. Doesn t creep, shrink or block systems. Single component - clean and easy to apply. It is best suited for use on coarse metal threads and its breakaway torque rating is 1.7Nm. Viscosity is 280,000 - 800,000 mPa·s and service temperature -55 to +150º C. UL approved.For high pressure applications, locks and seals tapered metal, pipe threads and fittings. 72-Hr. curing time, -65 deg. to 400 deg. F temperature range, 1.14 specific gravity, > 199.94 deg. F flash point, 0.13% VOC, 540000 cPs viscosity rating, 15 psi tensile strength. Composition: polyglycol dimethacrylate, polyglycol laurate, ethene, tetrafluoro-, homopolymer, titanium dioxide, silica, amorphous, fumed, crystal-free, saccharin, epoxy resin, cumene hydroperoxide, ethylene glycol, cumene. White paste. 50 mL tube.
