Rewinding back to 1968, we began as Computer Components Corporation, a distributor of electronic components, resistors and capacitors to large original equipment manufacturers such as Texas Instrument. In the 1970’s, we became one of the nation’s first authorized Panasonic battery modification centers, launching us into the custom energy-storage solutions space. In the late 90s, we transitioned to UPG, expanding into sealed lead-acid battery solutions among other chemistries, and added supply chain expertise. In the past decade, we added to the UPG umbrella, Intelligent Technologies (“iTECH”) and Progressive Technologies (“PTI”), cutting-edge manufacturers offering custom-engineered energy storage and charging solutions including smart lithium-ion batteries and chargers, for specialized energy requirements.
